Fall 2020
For one of my classes, we were tasked to take an existing business and redesign their logo. I chose Sushi Cafe in Denton, TX as I was working there at the time and was familiar with both the business and the boss. Their current logo is simply the name of the business in a script font, and I felt that was too simple and did not stand out. I created a fresh, new color palette and designed a piece of sushi to go along with a Japanese-inspired font for the name of the restaurant. I included the tagline "Japanese Restaurant" in a thin sans serif font to continue the modern feel without overpowering the rest of the design.
(This was an independent project, not an actual design for the company)
